Stepping Into Relationship With The Holy Spirit

The Person of the Holy Spirit is the One who introduces us to Jesus; convicts us of sin; and brings us the new born-again life in Christ. He is the Discipler, Counselor, Advocate and Helper. He is the One who leads us every day, teaches us to say “no” to sin and then gives us the power to live godly lives that bears the Kingdom “fruit” of Galatians 5:22-23.

We need to know Him. The Lord Jesus made this promise: We shall “receive power when the Holy Spirit has come” upon us – power to serve Him and be His witnesses in our world. The Holy Spirit is the One who gives gifts “as He wills” and shows us how to use them to the blessing of others.

These sermons were given at Church of the Apostles in Fairfield, Connecticut by Thaddeus and Erilynne Barnum.
